Da Fade, ladies and gentlemen.

However, I have a mouth. So I asked. And I was told by true relationships bloggers that “fade” is when a person you date, goes missing in action. [...]

Sex blogged, Tao spoken and inspired blow jobs

Posted on 02 December 2010

Sex Blogged is like Tao Spoken – with very, very, very few exceptions. That’s what struck me about Daisy’s blog – it was definitely an exception. She writes about the spiritual part of it and that’s what sex is, at least to me. “It’s not a blow job, it’s a deeply spiritual experience,” – she says. I agree!

You know what else I like about it? It is about the truth, not about the ego. There is a difference between O’Henry and the Upanishads. In our day and age, everybody wants to be right: monogamists scold polygamists till their proper asses get caught in cheating, and polygamists look down at monogamists till their naughty asses fall in love. And I get mad at both because I just want to live my life. But enough preamble. [...]

Long distance, Schlong distance. The pun is accidental.

Posted on 13 September 2010

Today’s blog is about long distance relationships. Personally, I am not a fan. Although I’ve had one long-distance relationship that kind of worked out. In fact, it was close to perfect while we lived in different cities. And then he moved in…

But I also had a friend in Moscow whose husband moved to Germany for work and when he eventually left her she was so heart-broken (they had a Christian marriage and a great friendship) that she adopted two kids from an orphanage and gave up on her personal life for good. I guess, we all choose. [...]

Why a free woman nags. And how she bakes her past passions in the oven.

Posted on 11 September 2010

If I am attracted to you, I also rely on getting attention from you. If you ignore me, I will get mad. It’s simple math, nobody likes to be thrown off balance.

If you ignore me and I don’t get mad, it is not because I became a good, understanding woman. It is because I stopped relying on you. [...]

Women hate interruptions. I am a woman. Use your logic.

Posted on 06 September 2010

If there is one thing that drives me insane consistently, it is inconsistency. It makes me lose my mind and my temper, and it tempts me to act like a crazy bitch.

Example: switching songs in the middle.

Example: changing up the style mid-sex. [...]

31 year old virgin. Facebook. Discuss.

Posted on 28 August 2010

I don’t think I am in the position to attack any ideas because, for one, I believe that if an idea is there, there is a need for it, and for two, I’ve had plenty of my own that were not based on anything real (but I was none the less convinced). So I feel very benevolent towards Lindsey and respect her right to stand by what she believes in. For herself.

That said, I am very much disturbed by the notion of passing a personal preference onto young children who don’t yet have the capacity to choose based on their reality. I can only imagine the amount of “Release Your Inner Goddess” seminars those kids (girls) will have to purchase in the future to get rid of the complexes attained by being taught that virginity is some kind of a virtue [...]

Love is….abstinence? A story of a virgin

Posted on 26 August 2010

Lindsey’s story is a little bit of a sales pitch for her book but I left it as is for authenticity. Behind every sales pitch, there is a pair of eyes and a heart.

Personally I strongly believe that sex ed should be done by people who practice the deed, not by the ones who abstain for whatever reason. But I am not going to get into this discussion right now because it is a bottomless can of worms.

Wishful thinking. Of course I am. [...]

A story of one sad song and three cheating men

I wrote that song about a certain guitar player who fucked me over (for those who know me closely – no, not that one).

I played it with a certain bass player who said both me and the song were amazing and then fucked me over.

Then I recorded several versions of it with another guitar player who asked me to marry him and then…yes, he fucked me over! [...]

Love Fraud

Posted on 27 July 2010

“Dating a psychopath sounds like something right out of a Hollywood thriller, doesn’t it? On TV we learn that psychopaths are serial killers. This makes for scary TV shows, but poor education. A psychopath is an exploiter, someone with no heart, no conscience and no remorse. Some people refer to these human predators as “sociopaths.” Medical professionals disagree about what term to use and how to define it, which only leaves the rest of us confused—and exposed to the danger of ignorance. And it’s a big danger, because 3 million to 12 million people in the U.S. are sociopaths. Most are not in jail.” [...]
