We live in the age of amazing technology, open platforms, changing paradigms and a whole lot of unique voices shouting all at the same time.
Unless you are a mere mortal, your self-esteem is dictated by two things: how many people know who you are, and how much money you get for your time (looks, voice, ideas, products).

Journalism was intended to deliver facts, not informercials. Just like music radio stations were intended to deliver sonic pleasure, not products. Just like products and services were intended to serve people, not use their emotions against them. Just like emotions were intended to be a moan from God. Or something like that.
But who can blame companies for their desire to make money? Companies, their CEOs and every single employee? Money is like air, money feels good. [...]
