I wrote that song about a certain guitar player who fucked me over (for those who know me closely – no, not that one).
I played it with a certain bass player who said both me and the song were amazing and then fucked me over.
Then I recorded several versions of it with another guitar player who asked me to marry him and then…yes, he fucked me over! [...]

I am in a mellow mood. It is shameful that I am enjoying my own recording of Lou Reed’s “Perfect Day”?
I actually really, really like this version (it’s one of the play takes, didn’t end up on the album even though it was my favorite and Imogen Heap would be proud).
